Screech…

…Owl that is – not what Jim used to do does to scare 10 years off peoples lives. We saw one of these cuties out at Oakwoods Metropark Nature Center on an Owl Prowl. We went out after dark, played the screech owl call, and ducked as we got dive bombed a few times. Right at the end of the prowl, the naturalist actually found a little guy like this who had been answering the call. We all (the Lajeunesses, Jim and all the kids and I) got a great look at him/her!
